BELLE PLAINE - January 19/24
BELLE PLAINE is a singer, a songwriter, and an inventive musician who was raised on the Canadian Prairies near the hamlet of Fosston, Saskatchewan – population: 45. Her reverence for artists who defy categorization has led her to create a brand of roots music that combines vintage blues and swing tones of the 1940s with classic country styles made popular in the heyday of the Grand Ole Opry. An avid collaborator, she has performed her music with the Regina Symphony Orchestra, was a guest vocalist on Colter Wall’s breakthrough debut album Imaginary Appalachia, and saw her co-writing and harmony-singing chops featured on Blake Berglund’s latest record, Realms. BELLE PLAINE’s 2018 album Malice, Mercy, Grief & Wrath highlights her tremendous voice and prodigious songwriting abilities, and was produced by Jason Plumb (Colter Wall, The Dead South).

THE WEBER BROTHERS - April 8/24
Ryan and Sam Weber left their Baltimore, MD home on night as teenagers, and ten hours later showed up at the doorstep of their idol, rockabilly legend Ronnie Hawkins. Impressed with the pair’s immense raw talent, Hawkins invited them to audition for his storied backing band, The Hawks. After an intense
musical apprenticeship, they were in. By the ages of 18 and 21 they had already performed alongside the likes of Kris Kristofferson, Jeff Healey, and The Tragically Hip. The brothers have recorded 15 independent albums, and as studio musicians performed on hundreds of others including working with
Gordon Lightfoot, and Willie Nelson. “If I had The Weber Brothers with me in 1952... Elvis would’ve been my roadie.” – Ronnie Hawkins
